Welcome to my place on the net. I am a teacher, musician and composer working in the Brackley area of South Northamptonshire. I teach piano/keyboard, clarinet, saxophone and guitar. Until 1996 I worked as a school music teacher but since then I have worked as a freelance teacher and musician.

Apart from my instrumental activities I have a fascination for the new technologies that are changing the shape of music in the 21st Century, as you may see from the photo I have a small studio based round my mac G5 and Logic Pro, if you want to know more about this visit the Studio section. |

Feels Like Friday Finish BMF

Feels Like Friday whipped up a storm on Saturday night at the Waynflete Hall with the final concert in this year's Brackley Music Festival. With music spanning the 50s to the present day, the band had the audience up on their feet for most of the second half.
Sadly it was Nick last official appearance with the band as pressures of work are keeping him in Oxford. We wish him luck and maybe there'll be the occasional guest spot.

New Gig dates for BJO and FLF

BJO and 'Feels Like Friday' are playing at Croughton Village Hall on Saturday December 8th in a fund raising event for BJO. Also the bands are playing again for the Kings Sutton School Wassail evening at the Memorial Hall on Friday 14th December. Details of tickets later.
Well Done BJO

A big well done to all members of the BJO for their performance at the Honda open day. The conditions were not ideal but you played well and the sound around the site was excellent. Everyone was very impressed. Have a good Summer all of you and we'll get back to the music on December 9th.

'Feels Like Friday' debuts at Festival

Some well-known local musicians have joined to form 'Feels like Friday' which has its debut gig at the Brackley Music Festival on Saturday July 14th. Drummer Stewart Manley, guitarist Nick Wright, bassist Stuart Hubble, singers Martina O'Byrne, Kayleigh Manley, Jenny Davies and horn players Helen Henshaw, George Eatwell and Trevor Lecoche join me for this concert of rock and soul music. Be there!
